Colon Cleansing

Doing an internal cleanse diet: Instructions Part 1 of 2

to get started, dietary changes must be made. Eliminate all processed foods. Eliminate caffeine and alcohol. Get rid of sugar, white flour and artificial sweeteners. For the first few days of a cleanse, eat only fresh fruits, drink raw vegetable juices and get plenty of water. Adding more fiber in the form of psyllium will also help the process. Try to focus on eating raw foods with very little cooked or processed foods at first. Look in to taking probiotics to maintain the “good” bacteria of the colon. If you’re going to go all the way, try a parasite cleanser as well. Doing all of this can rid the body of toxins and may lead to a better overall feeling of well-being. The duration of a colon cleanse can be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, gradually adding in more food every day. The food that is added in should be healthy - low in fat and unprocessed.
