Doing an internal cleanse diet: Instructions Part 2 of 2

The next step in an internal cleanse diet should focus on the liver and kidneys. Your liver plays a huge part in your immune system, among other things. If it isn’t operating correctly it can create havoc in many different ways. The kidneys flush everything out of your system. That’s why drinking a lot of water every day and staying away from drinks that dehydrate you (caffeine and alcohol) is important for kidney health. To cleanse the liver and kidneys start by eating only fresh fruits, raw vegetable juices and water. After two or three days, start adding in healthy foods such as salads and raw veggies. Then add protein to your diet, like fish or chicken. Try this for a few weeks. Following an internal cleanse diet doesn’t have to be a chore or be forever, but it is all about maintaining a healthy lifestyle by eating foods that are good for you.
