Improving our health while not spending a lot of money during the process is a popular topic. Following an internal cleanse diet might be just the answer. Everyday we breathe in and ingest multiple toxins. Toxins are poisonous substances that can cause harm to our bodies. These can include but are not limited to: fast foods, processed foods, prescription drugs, sugar, caffeine and alcohol. Think about how much of those are in an average American’s diet.
Toxins can be held all over the body, but most are held in the colon. Over time, these toxins can take a huge toll on the body. Some of the symptoms include, but again, are not limited to: constipation and bowel sluggishness, diarrhea, high cholesterol, chronic pain and certain conditions like diverticulitis. Diverticulitis is actually a tiny pouch of intestine that pushes through the colon wall. This can be very painful. It is believed that a high fiber diet can help prevent this condition. An internal cleanse diet is centered on getting good amounts of fiber and should start with targeting the colon.
