Lemonade Diet Vs The Maple Syrup Diet
The Lemonade Diet and The Maple Syrup Diet are also known as Master Cleanse Plan. The ingredients in Master Cleanse Plan include lemons as well as maple syrup and the recent popularity of the plan has given this internal cleansing and weight loss plan several nicknames.
Master Cleanse was developed in the 1940s by Stanley Burroughs who used it to cure people with stomach ulcers and found that it could cure other illnesses as well. Everyone who used the Master Cleanse program lost weight and it quietly became a weight loss solution for people who were aware of it. In 1976 Stanley wrote his book, The Master Cleanser and that publication helped raise awareness, so more people began to use the plan to cure various illnesses, as well as to lose weight. Master Cleanse continue to grow in popularity and in 2004 Peter Glickman wrote the book, Lose Weight, Have More Energy & Be Happier in 10 Days and Master Cleanse became known as the Lemonade Diet. The nickname the Maple Syrup Diet started to be used after Robin Quivers and Beyonce’s weight loss experiences were made public in 2006.
The Maple Syrup Diet and the Lemonade Diet have the same ingredients, although they have been modified to suit individual lifestyles and taste. 12 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 12 tablespoons of grade B maple syrup are used along with ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper and 60 ounces of filtered water. An addition 60 ounces of filtered water and sea salt is used as a flush. Beyonce ate vegetables and used an herbal laxative tea on her Maple Syrup Diet. The diet is considered a 7 to 14 day fast instead of a diet, because food is usually not consumed while the body is being cleansed. Some people want to lose a lot of weight so they stayed on the Lemonade Diet or Maple Syrup Diet for 40 days. Whatever name you use to describe the Master Cleanse Plan, it will work if the instructions are followed. Maple syrup, lemons, cayenne pepper and filtered water have become the rock stars of the weight loss industry. They do the job no matter what name you use to describe them.
