The Master Cleanse Diet can be a psychological challenge. Let’s face it most people enjoy their comfort foods and will have a difficult time giving up solid foods during these two weeks. But if they can manage to get through those two weeks successfully they will have amazing results. Here are some tips to help you on your journey through the Master Cleanse Diet.

Tip # 1: Journal Throughout the two weeks. Journaling your experience can help to record what you are doing and reinforce the emotions connected to this event. You are performing the Master Cleanse to give you a new lease on life it should be recorded to remember. Also being on a liquid diet can be difficult. Most people will psyche themselves out. Writing your feelings in a journal will help you work through them. Some people like to blog about this and others will make this a more personal journey. Which ever you choose make sure you do journal this experience.

Tip # 2: Stay Motivated. You started this two week Master Cleanse for a reason. Keep those motivations in mind throughout the week. Put up reminders around the house or at work to reinforce those motivations. For example; if you started this cleanse diet to lose weight, put up pictures of what you used to look like or have a picture altered to show you what you will most likely look like. Make these visible. Pull out your skinny jeans and have them on top of the dresser and daily as your weight goes down try them on. Staying motivated will help you to forget the voice in your head telling you to eat that bowl of macaroni and cheese.

Tip # 3: Have friend and family support. If you work it is important to have friends at work support and family support at home. Most likely they are not doing this cleanse with you. Seeing them eat a pot roast at lunch or dinner does not help your mind when you are drinking a lemonade drink. The support from your family and or friends is very important to help you through those crisis moments.

Tip # 4: Prepare ahead of time. If you are the cook of the household and no one else is good at this job you may want to make the meals in advance and store them in the freezer.

Tip # 5: Timing is everything. Don’t plan on doing the Master Cleanse during a stressful time like; review month or moving at home. Also don’t make plans to do the Master Cleanse while on vacation or during the holidays. Stress makes most people eat and special holidays is a time to enjoy the new places you are visiting including the food.
