Our daily lives are busy and fast paced. We eat, drink and breathe in toxins in the air and food that we need to survive, and many of these toxins then decide to take up residence in our colon, liver and kidneys. When this happens, these organs no longer function at their best causing constipation, diarrhea, inability to digest food properly and abdominal pain or discomfort. In order for us to keep our bodies running appropriately, we need to keep them clean and healthy.
Picturing the colon, liver and kidneys as the plumbing network of the body, we can extend this to the fact that any plumbing network that becomes clogged with debris will not function as well as it should. If you plumbing system backs up, the first place that you will notice this is in the colon as you become constipated with unexcelled waste build up. Toxins and waste that are not expelled from the body properly buildup and may even be re-absorbed into the bloodstream where they will pollute the cells of the body causing lowering of the ability to fight infections as well as disease.
