Salt Water Flush Recipe For Master Cleanse

The master cleanse detoxification system has been used since the 1940s. Master cleanse or the lemonade diet is a simple method of cleansing and repairing the gastrointestinal system and it also can be an effective method of weight reduction. The master cleanse ingredients are fresh organic lemons, grade B maple syrup, cayenne pepper and filtered water. A salt water flush is also part of the plan and almost everyone who has used master cleanse says that the salt water flush is the most difficult part of the plan.

Recipe for Master Cleanse

The recipe for the sea salt flush is 1 quart of filtered water at room temperature and 2 teaspoon of sea salt. A quart of the salt water flush is part of the daily master cleanse plan. Some recipes for the salt water flush include a little fresh lemon or lime juice to make it easier to drink at one time. Other people drink it through a straw, which makes it easier to swallow. Some master cleanse plans eliminate the sea salt flush and substitute an herbal tea laxative, which has the same effect on the internal system. Stanley Burroughs the natural health expert who created the master cleanse suggested that an entire quart of salt water flush be part of the daily plan, but some people have decided to drink only 16 ounces a day and that amount works for them.

The importance of the salt water flush as Burroughs points out is its density. It does not get processed by the kidneys, because it is the same density as blood. The salt water goes straight through the kidneys and it flushes the colon, which is the reason the master cleanse plan was initiated. The salt water flush can be the first drink of the morning or the last one at night. Burroughs suggested that the salt water flush be consumed in the morning and other nutritionist say it works better in the evening. Whenever it is absorbed into the system a bowel movement will follow.

The master cleanse system works. It does cleanse and repair the liver, kidneys and the colon, as well as other organs throughout the body. Master cleanse was originally used for heart ailments and then to cure other health issues and now is used to remove the free radicals that accumulate in the liver, kidneys and colon due to processed food and junk food diets. Just recently it has gained popularity as a weight loss plan and that has made master cleanse an instant star around the world. Just like any other weight loss or cleansing plan, master cleanse does have side effects. Mouth sores, fatigue, body aches are some of the issues along with hunger and mild food cravings. These side effects can be avoided by using common sense along with the master cleanse. One of the most important aspects of master cleanse is the filtered water which is used for consumption as well as for a mouth rinse. If enough water is consumed daily, most of the side effects will disappear.

As long as the master cleanse instructions are followed, the salt water flush issues and the side effects blend in with the healing process and the expected results are achieved in seven to ten days, although some people stay on the plan for up to forty days.
